7. Glen Cutcher – Potter

Glen has been a potter for more than 30 years in Michigan and Wisconsin. Having studied art at Western Michigan University, Glen setup and worked in his own studio for 10 years in Michigan producing stoneware and porcelain pottery and salt glazed stoneware. Moving his family to Wisconsin in the early 80’s, Glen has worked for Rowe Pottery in Cambridge, Wisconsin for the last 30 years. In this industrial setting, honing his throwing skills as a production potter for the first yearshe moved into product development, design and the making of dies and molds. Over the years Glen has continued to develop his own personal work. At this time he is making a wide variety of pottery that is intended for everyday use and enjoyment.
